Founded in 2022 in Figueres, Girona, Bon Port began by offering recreational boating training and professional maritime services, including yacht skipper services and administrative management. In 2024, we expanded our service portfolio to include the Judicial Expertise in Vessel Valuation, becoming a benchmark in the appraisal and valuation of recreational vessels.
The founder and managing director of Bon Port, Sergi Segura Trull, holds the title of Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (CoC), granted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA), and a degree in Nautical Sciences and Maritime Transport (LNTM), from the Faculty of Nautical Studies of Barcelona (FNB) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
With nearly a decade of experience in the merchant navy, sailing aboard oil and gas tankers across the world’s oceans and transiting canals such as Suez and Panama, Sergi decided to establish his own business. This project reflects his desire to share his knowledge and experience with both the recreational and professional sectors.
